Membranes form the intricately shaped compartments of life. The Biomembrane Days highlight recent advances in understanding the morphology and molecular organization of biomimetic and biological membranes.  In 2014, the focus of the Biomembrane Days was on the four topical areas "Membranes and vesicles", "Adhesion", "Particles at membranes", and "Theory and simulations", which are strongly interrelated.
